The biggest mistake one can make when they don't know the way is admitting they are lost. Although we don't want to admit it, this is called "Pride." In order to find the way to eternal life with God, you must admit you are lost in your sin.
Romans 5:12 teaches us that since Adam and Eve, the first man and woman on earth, a sin nature has been present in all people.
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

What to Expect
Your Questions & Our Answers
When you come to CityLight, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who genuinely care for you. Below are some common questions:
?
We meet at our beautiful campus at 1121 Sperryville Pike near Redwood Lane in Culpeper, Virginia. You can get directions here.
"Where do you meet?"
?
When you drive onto campus, we have friendly greeters who will help you find the right service or class. We will be more than happy to get you where you need to be.
"How will I know where to go?"
?
We want you to come just as you are. Wear whatever you feel is most comfortable and appropriate for church. We have people coming in casual or business style apparel. We know that you will fit right in, no matter what your outfit is like.
"What do I wear?"
?
We have classes for babies, toddlers, elementary and middle schoolers, and junior and high schoolers. Each youth ministry has a page on our website (under the tab that says, "Connect," on the top menu), where you can find more information.
"What sort of classes are available for my kids?"
?
Absolutely not! In fact, we have some gifts for you once you visit. We didn't invite you to ask you to give to CityLight. We believe giving is an act of worship in response to what God does in your heart. If you feel moved to give, we appreciate that, however we will never force you or ask you to give.
"Am I expected to give money?"
